ISTD Competition Success.

I have been awarded membership into the ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers) through successfully completing the ‘Society’s Annual Student Assessment Scheme’ in the form of the ‘78rpm-mp3′ brief I submitted as shown here, and in more detail in this blog.

I created this ‘scene’ to generate artwork for musician ‘Future Foe’. The objects in the scene represent metaphors for the subjects of the songs contained on the ‘Paint by Numbers’ album.

Futurebrand Competition Brief.

This brief asked to show what a company would be doing in the year 2020. I wanted to show that hmv would be all things to all people. I didn’t want to get too involved in what they would be offering at this time, more of a general campaign aimed at anyone who was into music, games or DVDs.
